Blind manufacturer Suomen Visor Oy is growing strongly - invests 2 million euros in Kempele factory in 2022
The Finnish blind manufacturer Suomen Visor Oy continues to grow strongly. To support the growth, the company will invest approximately 2 million euros in its Kempele plant in 2022. The company plans to recruit about 30 new people for sales and production positions during next spring.
- We aim to raise the factory's automation level by investing in new machinery and equipment. This enables us to increase our production capacity and meet our growing customer needs. This year, we expect a growth of up to 30% in production volumes, says factory manager Tuukka Liukko.
The value of the new investments announced now is approximately 1.5 million euros. The investments are part of an ongoing investment program until 2024, the total value of which will rise to approximately 2 million euros this year.
- Procurement decisions for the new investments have been partially made. Equipment installations will mainly take place during 2022, Liukko says.
Suomen Visor Oy is a part of Lumon Group, which manufactures balcony and terrace glazing. The strong growth in the Group's sales is also reflected in the Visor blind factory, which manufactures blinds for the needs of the Lumon Group around the world. About 40% of blind production is delivered to the export market. In 2021, Suomen Visor Oy manufactured 230,000 blinds.
