WHERE IT ALL BEGUN
VISOR’S HISTORY
Visor Oy was founded in 1972 when Ahti Pulkkinen, founder of the company was on summer holiday with his family and bought himself a venetian blind making machine. Ahti wanted to bring a modern way to regulate the amount of daylight and create the best conditions for a comfortable home.

NEW CHALLENGES
In 2006 we challenged us to come up with a blind that was missing on the
market. A thought in the sauna went quickly from idea to concept with the
innovative new blind – Visor Queen.
A NEW PRODUCT
OUR CUSTOMERS
In 2018 Visor Queen developed into a new Visor Blind that
protects windows, patios, and balconies in different countries. Our customers are consumers, building construction firms and different window- and glazing companies around the globe.

Today we produce over 250,000 blinds annually and have almost 170 employees. Our Blinds can be found in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany, France, Spain, Canada, Switzerland, Estonia and USA.

MANUFACTURE OF BLINDS
The components required for the manufacture of blinds are always obtained as close to our factory as possible. Most of the components come from Finland and rest of Europe.

The environmental certificate ISO140001 indicates the
responsibility of our factory. We support sustainable development from the perspective of both ecological and economic goals. These measures increase efficiency and reduce energy consumption. We also contribute to the prevention of waste through recycling.
